Blue Springs Intro. to Martial Arts Ages 7 +A-Plus Karate for Kids is offering introductory martial arts for ages 4-6 years. Students learn life skills such as discipline, focus, confidence and respect. Classes develop physical fitness, self-defense and flexibility. Classes meet at A-Plus Karate For Kids, 629A Mock Plaza on Mondays and Wednesdays. Register at the Parks & Recreation Office. Blue Springs Bricks for KidzBricks 4 Kidz classes provide an extraordinary atmosphere for children where they learn, they build, they play... with LEGOŽ Bricks! The specially designed MOTORIZED project kits and theme-based models provide the building blocks to educational play. Classes begin with a short lesson about the project, then students get to build the model plan.
At the end of each class, the students have time to build with our free-play containers filled with LEGOŽ Bricks. Six-class session held at Vesper Hall, 400 NW Vesper Street.
Forces of Nature (ages 6-13+)
Batten down the hatches, this unit is all about the powerful forces of nature! Mini models shake from earthquakes and swirl from the effects of tornadoes, cyclones and others.
